Nowadays, the world is going down. Polluted air and water, global warming, species in danger, are just some of the main issues the world is facing. All of these situations are caused by humans and their antipathy thoughts, without considering the fact that they are not alone in this world; this is why we decided to take part in this movement in order to change the environment.

Firstly we made a petition to the governor, in order to have financial aid and also to let him know the problems we are facing as a community with polluted water, forcing him to be more conscious about local issues.

Dear governor:

Water is considered a renewable source, despite this, water has begun to be just about to be insufficient for all the species on earth, but why is this happening?

This is the result of human ignorance, and their lack of will to change their bad habits, such as shopping spree, and the absence of empathy for the environment. We have become the main predator of the environment.

Polluted water is one of the main issues in Mexico, contaminating 56.9% of water, leaving only 43.01% clean water. This is all due to oil and fuel spills causing the loss of many species, the situation in our country has been getting worse in the last decades, the most affected areas are the Valle de México and the Cutzamala system that provides the majority of clean water for Mexico city.

This polluted water can cause illnesses such as intestinal infections, being the sixth cause of death in children in 2019, also can cause diarrhea is related to dehydration because of the lack of electrolyte, in the other hand malaria is transmitted by a mosquito that lives in wastewaters, fever (tifoidea) is a bacterial disease produce by drinking polluted water, as this are many illnesses that kill many species in the world.

We can prevent this by keeping in consideration all this factors:

• We must stop flushing medicines down the toilet, or dumping them in the nearest pond or creek. Drugs tend to accumulate in the water, and in fish and other wildlife, the hormones and other compounds end up causing a variety of health problems in fish and birds by contaminating drinking water that people and livestock use.

• Stop using that much Chemicals! Homeowners like to keep the yard looking green and healthy, but this desire for a green lawn produces water pollution in two ways: Fertilizers and pesticides inevitably run off the shrubs and lawns and into the water. No matter where you live, there are bound to be attractive plants that can thrive with minimal help from added chemicals. This makes the plants cheaper to care for and as a bonus, we will waste less water keeping those plants alive.

Governor, we need your help in order to put this situation under control and try to make Mexican citizens conscious about the problematic we are facing today.
